Go ahead and share your strategy or tips here. We can discuss how effective we think those are or provide help to each other.

Well there are a few different ways I've heard of (from Richard and Joatmon in particular), so I'll get those out of the way so people can build on them.
Mirror This strategy calls for everyone to attack their rank equivalent with their first attack then clean up for others around them with their second when it's clear who needs cleaning up after. This is simple to follow as everyone knows where their first attack is, but runs the risk of having rank matching be skewed and getting ineffective attacks in large portions of the clan.
Systematic elimination This strategy requires early participation by the lowest ranks and quick response of the next higher as the previous attacks. The lowest rank attacks the lowest and the second lowest on the opposing side, the second lowest then either cleans up if they didn't make the target stars (usually 3) or attacks the next highest that doesn't and so on. What results is the most 3 starred attacks possible by the clan, but not necessarily the most stars if they're cleaning up 2 starred attacks when higher attacks are possible for the clan at large. I've heard of the highest ranks doing the same in reverse while the lowest ranks are doing their thing to ensure everyone has time to get both their attacks in, but that runs the risk of wasting attacks on bases they can't get stars on if the clan matching mismatched ranks for them.
Self-adjusting This calls for every member to judge and choose for themselves which is the highest ranked base they're reasonably sure their individual army is capable of three starring. Each person is to learn over the course of several wars how to judge more effectively to this point. Their second attack is either for clean up or for looting depending on how well the war is going for their clan and their clan's specific instructions on it. This is our current strategy.

I like the mirror strategy but with a little bit of wiggle room. You can attack say 4 out of your range. This means everyone still has to pick for themselves who to attack but it leaves a smaller window for your rank to be flooded with 3 stars. Ideally, we would get everyone on this forum so we could all pick our first attacks.
Systematic elimination sounds awesome but there is no way we could implement it with our international clan. Are there any parts of it we could use? Maybe doing the same thing but in smaller groups or windows like ranks 25 through 30 do that for the lowest 5 and ranks 20 to 25 do it for the next 5, etc?

You may have to make participation in this forum mandatory for war inclusion. There was a lot of confusion during our last war and we won more because the other team stunk than because of any changes we made. Just sayin...

Right now we can safely say 14 of our 40 members have found the forum. We need to encourage people to find it on their PC before making the jump to mandatory (if we are going that direction) due to many complaining that it's too hard to find on their phone. Apparently apps are easier to manage than typing 4 words in an address bar ...they probably just don't feel it necessary to have a forum for a video game that they play solely for leisure, which I get somewhat.
