I've been making lists just for fun of which strategies I'd use for each base and have occasionally posted in chat ranges or such for such strategies. Here I'll just post as a reply my list and have instructions for reading it as the main post =) Old war lists will be deleted as new war lists arrive and the name will be changed. Thread will be updated based on my whim (or if the leaders want to work on it, that's fine too).
I don't account for hog strategies or specify which kind of ground strategies (beyond gowipe) can/should be used. Find one yourself in the tutorials on this board.
My shorthand is as follows:
#dragons = dragon strategy with # level dragons; fractions such as 2/3 means lvl2 or lvl3 dragons can be used depending on ability of player or luck
gowipe = golem wizard pekka strategy (or with giant substitutions for golem)
vvv ground attack vvv = in general, everything below this point can be done by ground attack
^^^ lvl3 dragons ^^^ = in general, everything above this point that can be done by dragons must be level 3
I put cardinal directions after a strategy to show my suggested deployment site (dragon strategies should lightning the far-side air defense from the deployment site); NNE means slightly more north than north-east, WSW means slightly more west than south-west, etc.
I put 'or' between two strategies that could work; cardinal directions may be different or same
'( )' are used when adding alterations from the general strategy, such as '(wiz?)' to indicate perhaps having a few wizards to take out a poorly defended air defense would help
'lure' after the strategy means luring is possible and easy if there isn't (giant) or (hog) or some other additional suggestion as to how to lure
'(farming)' refers to a possible easy target for farming and should only be followed if Richard issues the OK to farm in war, which is generally when we're winning by too much to lose.
As always, if you have questions or want additional suggestions, in game chat is very open to helping you. Just speak in English and we'll be more likely to understand =)
